Emirates and flydubai reactivate partnership offering seamless travel to over 100 unique destinations through Dubai

Dubai based carriers Emirates and Flydubai have announced its plan to revive partnership to offer customer even more choices on flights to over 30 destinations on Flydubai along with 70 travel destinations with Emirates. The partnership between these two carriers first came into effect in October 2017 and received a tremendously positive response from customers who wanted to take the benefit of increased connectivity and greater choices from Dubai.

Following the gradual resumption of passenger flights, the two Dubai-based airlines have reinvigorated their successful and strategic partnership to offer customers greater connectivity, convenience and flexibility in travel.

Emirates & Flydubai Revival of Codeshare Partnerships

With this partnership, Emirates customers can now travel on codeshare flights to more than 30 Flydubai destinations, whereas Flydubai customers will get more than 70 travel destinations that they can fly with Emirates.

Emirates’ Chief Commercial Officer,Adnan Kazim, said over the renewal of the partnership, “We are thrilled to announce that our customers can once again enjoy the Emirates and Flydubai ‘s complementary strengths to access an enhanced network of cities on a single flight ticket and an integrated loyalty program”.

Chief Commercial Officer at Flydubai, Hamad Obaidalla said, We’re confident that travel demand will continue to rise as more countries gradually lift international travel restrictions. Since June, Flydubai has resumed flights to 32 destinations around the network, and we expect the number to grow steadily over the coming months.

Following the precautionary measures, both the airlines have implemented extensive safety measures to combat COVID-19 at every step of the journey with enhanced sanitization of touchpoints & advanced filters to purify the air in the aircraft.

In view of the corona pandemic, customers transiting through Dubai will undergo thermal screening. Moreover, COVID-19 PCR testing is compulsory for all inbound and transit customers to Dubai further ensuring a safe transit experience for Emirates and Flydubai customers through the airport.

A complimentary hygiene kit with masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial wipes will also be provided to customers boarding Emirates flights.

Free Global Cover Through Emirates

Customers traveling with Emirates can also book their travel with confidence as the Emirates airline is the only airline who has committed to cover COVID-19 related medical expenses. However, Emirates will take care of all the Covid-19 travel expenses free of cost if passenger diagnosed COVID-19 positive during their travel. This policy is also applicable to travelers who travel on codeshare flights.

Emirates currently operates 74 destinations around the globe through August from which passengers can connect to over 100 destinations around the globe. Moreover, Emirates customers can take advantages of extended Flexible travel policies where travelers can get even more choices and travel flexibility.
