Emirates Continues to Add 74 Destinations in August

Emirates Will Bring 74 destinations to it's network This August

In order to provide more choices to the passenger, Emirates announced its plan that they will continue to add travel options for passenger flights to Houston (from August 23), Birmingham (September 01), and Cebu (August 20).

From August, Emirates will bring 74 destinations in its network to offer travelers convenient connections between Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe and the Americas through its Dubai hub. Passengers can enjoy a stopover or travel to Dubai which has re-opened for international business and leisure visitors.

Emirates will fly three flights a week between Dubai and Houston using an Emirates Boeing 777-200LR aircraft. Currently, the airline offers passenger services to five U.S. getaways including New York (JFK), Washington DC(IAD), Boston (BOS), Chicago (ORD) and Los Angeles(LAX) – increasing its U.S. network to six cities and providing 27 weekly flights.

As the city has reopened for foreign business and leisure tourists, customers can stopover or fly to Dubai. COVID-19 PCR testing is mandatory for all inbound and transit passengers arriving in Dubai (and the UAE), including UAE citizens, residents and tourists, regardless of the country from which they originate.

Thinking About Flying to/from Dubai?

Travelers can finally fly to Dubai after it was shut for more than three months during the global pandemic while adhering to the highest health and safety standards in line with security procedures. As per the new travel policy, every traveler will have to show a negative PCR test certificate issued 96 hours prior to the departure date. Moreover, the thermal screening test will be conducted on the airport as a compulsory procedure to enter onboard. Any traveler testing positive would need to spend 14 days in solitary confinement. It was also stated that even if you carry a negative COVID-19 certificate, the test must be carried out 96 hours before tracking.

In Addition to this, Emirates is also offering the best stopover packages to some of the most popular hotels in Dubai which are located in the nearby area of the airport. Whether passenger traveling or relaxing in Dubai, they can experience anything Dubai has to offer just with one layover.

Emirates Safety Measures

In the face of unprecedented time, safety is always on the priority of everyone. Many airlines have introduced additional safety measures to ensure the safety of passengers during their journey. Emirates also has implemented a comprehensive set of precautionary measures at every step to ensure the safety of its passengers and staff on the ground and in the air. They have distributed complimentary hygiene kits containing masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes to all their passengers.

Free, global cover for COVID-19 related costs

To give a passenger some relief during this uncertain time, Emirates has introduced Free global cover where the passenger will get medical expenses if they are diagnosed with COVID-19 during their journey. Emirates Airline is the only airline who have offered this travel deal. With Free Global Cover, Emirates passengers can travel confidently. This cover is available immediately for customers flying on Emirates before October 31, 2020 (first flight to be completed on or before October 31, 2020), and is valid for 31 days from the moment they board the first section of their journey.

Travel restrictions

Customers are advised that travel restrictions remain in effect and passengers will only be permitted on flights if they meet the eligibility and entry criteria of their country of destination. The passengers traveling with Emirates to and from Dubai are required to get a negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate provided by a laboratory approved by the local government for acceptance on the flight. The airline has approved COVID-19 test providers and will not allow you to fly even if you test negative from an unauthorized test provider.
