Emirates launches new full Premium Economy Experience

Emirates Premium Economy Experience

Flyers can expect another unique emirate travel experience as the airline debuts its full Premium Economy offering onboard and on the ground, and reveals that this highly sought-after cabin will be available for purchase beginning June 1, 2022.

From August 1, Emirates passengers flying on key A380 routes to London, Paris, and Sydney, as well as Christchurch, will have access to the new cabin class, which has sumptuous seats, extra legroom, and service that rivals many airlines’ business offerings.

Emirates is the region’s only airline with a Premium Economy class.

Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airlines said: “As with everything we do, Emirates Premium Economy will be exceptional in its class, with minute attention given to every aspect of the customer experience. Customers trading up from the Economy will be getting excellent value.

It’s a significant investment to ensuring our customers continue to have the finest in-flight experience.”

Dedicated airport experience:

Customers may expect a designated check-in facility for Premium Economy passengers at Dubai International Airport, or they can use one of the many handy self-service check-in kiosks located throughout the terminal to avoid lines.

Luxurious seats

Customers will quickly notice the peaceful elegance of Emirates’ Premium Economy cabin as they board. The cabin’s ambiance is defined by a wood panel finish comparable to Business Class, and each seat is intended to give ideal comfort and support with 6-way adjustable headrests.

Comfort

Customers may relax under soft, sustainable blankets created from recycled plastic bottles and nestle into the amply sized cushion, all of which were designed specifically for Premium Economy. They may also replenish their supplies with the complimentary amenity kits, which come in recyclable, sustainable bags and feature things manufactured with recycled or sustainable materials.

Dining experience

Customers will be greeted on board with a welcome cocktail served in excellent glassware, incorporating aspects inspired by Business Class. A selection of large meals cooked with seasonal ingredients and regional influences will be served on chinaware with stainless steel cutlery wrapped in linen napkins throughout dinner service. A variety of beverages will be available, including premium wines and sparkling Chandon wine. After meals, liqueurs and chocolates are also available.

Unmatched entertainment at 40,000 feet

On Emirates’ award-winning ice, each seat has a 13.3″ screen, one of the largest in its class, to experience the unrivaled choice of up to 5,000 channels of music, movies, TV, news, and other information.

The Premium Economy cabin is placed at the front of the main deck of a four-class Emirates A380, with 56 seats configured in a 2-4-2 layout. Up to 24 Premium Economy seats will be put in a designated cabin segment between Business and Economy on the Emirates Boeing 777.
