Seattle has been rapidly expanding, and in the last decade, we’ve seen a slew of new international airlines arrive at the airport. The Seattle trip has now gone on sale, but the Detroit flight is yet to take off.
The flight will travel 6,071 miles in each direction and is scheduled to arrive at 12:10 a.m. westbound and 11:40 a.m. eastbound. Turkish Airlines will fly the route using a Boeing 787-9 with 300 seats. There are 30 seats in business class and 270 seats in economy class.
Turkish Airlines now operates 12 destinations to the United States, with the number of routes to the United States increasing to 14 if and when Detroit and Denver become operational. The airline serves Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Newark, San Francisco, and Washington in the United States. Seattle will be its sole sub-daily route by mid-July. Turkish Airlines flies to more countries across the world than any other airline.
Given all of the sites travelers may connect to outside Istanbul, this is an intriguing new flying option for people in the Seattle region.
Turkish Airlines also Increased Frequency From Houston, Dallas, And Washington and Re-introduced the Stopover accommodation service in Istanbul.
