KLM announced it’s a plan to resume passenger flights to 60 per cent of its summer capacity by August is an indication of easing travel restrictions, but demand for fly-to-destinations remains a major uncertainty in the recovery of coronavirus.
With the coronavirus taking a downturn, the Dutch airline would make the majority of additions in Southern Europe from August & September. The airline will have 60 per cent more flights which were decreased in the light of coronavirus. During this pandemic, KLM has been able to fly over a few summer destinations which were just 10 per cent of the regular flights.
The Flexi travel policies remain in place and the carriers have developed a number of incentives including a 15 per cent added-value bonus to encourage people to choose KLM as their next flights. In the face of coronavirus, various travel restrictions continue to impact the airline’s scheduled operation. With this update, KLM continues to grow it’s an intercontinental network to offer the passenger even more travel options from the airline they trust.

KLM Travel Requirements Amid Covid-19
The passenger must wear a face mask from the first boarding call until you exit the plane to avoid further spread of the virus. They won’t allow you to embark without one. They highly recommend that the passenger must wear a face mask at the rest of the airport. Children and individuals who have medical issues are exempted from this requirement.
Wearing masks is mandatory in public areas at some destinations, including the airport. Passengers aged 13 and above are required to wear a mask at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol at check-in, during security checks, at the gate and in areas where it is not possible to stay 1.5 meters away from other passengers. Assure that you cover your nose, mouth and chin while putting on your mask. To remove your mask, use the loops or links and don’t touch the mask itself. Wash your hands with soap and water, or immediately use hand gel disinfectant.
Precautionary Measure of KLM
