Japan Airlines has announced its plan to resume flights to Tokyo from major US destinations. The services will be reinstated from New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Honolulu, and San Francisco. The airlines are pleased to resume flights from July in view of improving travel conditions.

Precautionary Measures of Japan Airlines
To ensure the safety of passengers, Japan Airlines has taken enhanced precautionary measures to prevent the passenger from any kind of risks during their journey. JAL has adapted enhanced safety measures as follows-
1. Passengers will now be mandated to wear a mask when traveling on Japan Airlines except for infants and passengers who have medical conditions.
2. Passengers will be advised to check-in online, prior to their arrival to avoid contact during the procedures at the airport.
3. Passengers will be asked to carry only the necessary and limited baggage to avoid the delay during check-in, boarding and disembarking from the aircraft.
4. To ensure social distancing onboard, Japan airlines has added a temporary restriction on seat assignment to avoid in-person contact during the journey. Passengers will also be requested to maintain a required distance at the boarding gate.
5. Japan Airlines has implemented a staggered boarding process for travelers to board the flight.
6. In order to prevent the growing risk of coronavirus, thermographic inspection has been set up at Tokyo Haneda Airport to check the body temperature of passengers.
