The variant of Covid-19 is spreading faster within UK countries. The new variant of Covid-19 is imposing bans and restrictions on travel from the United Kingdom. According to health authorities, the transmission of a coronavirus variant is 70% faster than the earlier variants of Covid-19 virus.

The new variant first encountered in the UK enforce the authorities to impose a lockdown in south-east England and London. To prevent the countries from the new variant, authorities have decided to increase the travel restrictions for all of England during the festive season.

The British Government has established another lockdown on the affected regions, including the closure of all non-essential retail outlets. They have abandoned plans to allow a five-day cease of the Covid-19 travel restrictions across the country during the festive season.

To control the spread of new variant, countries across the United Kingdom has declared a lockdown due to which 40 countries in Europe, Asia, South America, the Caribbean and the Middle East have imposed the travel restricted from the UK and, in other countries that have reported variant cases. Some countries were proposing similar moves to avoid a worsening of the pre-Christmas pandemic. The U.S. has not yet followed suit.

According to the World Health Organization, the variant has also been identified in Denmark, the Netherlands and possibly in Belgium. The United Kingdom Foreign, authorities are working to help British nationals impacted by travel disruptions caused by new restrictions that have cut off UK travelers from most of Europe and other countries of the world.

The emergence of the new variant is a significant setback to contain the pandemic before new vaccines can be carried out across the world, suggesting that major restrictions will begin in the new year. There is no evidence to date that the latest strain causes more severe infections or will neutralise the vaccines, British scientists still have a concern about it will make it less manageable to control the spread of the new variant, even with a vaccine.

At one end, people are excited about the vaccine for Covid-19 but at the other end A second wave of infections is expected throughout the world, according to the country’s health ministry and virologists. In South Africa, the latest version has some similarities to the one identified in the U.K.

The United States had not as yet issued a travel ban from the United Kingdom

However, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo called for either a travel ban from the United Kingdom or mandatory passenger testing for a new variant. All passengers on Delta, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic flights between the United Kingdom and New York City will now be allowed to apply negative tests in advance of their flight.
