Turkish airlines have issued a new bulletin regarding the “Ticket changes and refund” for Travel Partners. It has sent out several notifications previously about offering passengers great deals of flexibility in managing their current bookings. It is mentioned that the passengers are still allowed from the Cancelled flights and for flights with a Major schedule change.
For cancelled flights which is an involuntary situation, no waiver is needed to exchange/refund the ticket. And Booking can be done with the next available in RBD in the same cabin when the same class fare is not available.
In case of a change in the schedule, travel partners can book passengers on any data -7/ +30 of the date of travel specified on the original ticket and proceed with an even exchange.
Options for Extra benefits for passengers instead of Refunds
For the passengers who refused to accept the offers for flights partially or fully suspended or schedule change and requesting a refund, Travel partners can offer one of the extra benefiting options like a voucher which adds 15% more value to the passenger’s ticket price or adding 1,000 Miles to passenger’s Miles&Smiles account for every 10 Euros of the ticket value before processing an involuntary refund.
Non-cancelled flights and Flights Not affected by Schedule change: Rebooking, rerouting, refund –
For tickets issued before March 20, 2020, with original travel date before may 31,2020 until December 31, 2020

- New Travel must be completed on/before December 31, 2021
- Ticket validity can be extended until December 31, 2021
For tickets issued on/before March 20, 2020, with original travel after May 31, 2020, until December 31, 2020
