Qatar Airways has announced its plan to reinstate flight services to approximately 59 destinations in June. From the USA, they will resume flights to Australia, Pakistan and Greece. The plans to resume flights are subject to approval from the government, meaning some destinations may still not be possible.
The Qatar airline has announced on Twitter that they will start resuming flights to the destination which had suspended due to unprecedented pandemic. They aimed to resume flights to approximately 59 destinations in June.
By the end of June, Qatar Airways will resume flights to India including Bangalore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Calicut, Kolkata, Kochi, New Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Chennai and Trivandrum.
The decision to reinstate service to six of the country is in line with the airline’s initiative to continue to support regional connectivity, and re-establish the entire supply chain.
Qatar Airways has been one of the experienced international airlines to continue scheduled flight services during an uncertain time. In the wake of coronavirus, they have navigated international airport procedures and introduced an advanced precautionary measure to carry the passengers to over 42 destinations.
To ensure the passenger safety onboard, they are offering full-body protective gear to all their crew as well as a modified service that reduces interactions between the passengers and the crew.
