Key Information for Travelers to Pakistan for inbound travel to, from, and within Pakistan.

The following rules shall apply to inbound travel to, from, and within Pakistan:

a) Only fully vaccinated travelers aged 12 and up will be permitted to fly to Pakistan on an international incoming flight. With the following exceptions, this will be the case:

I. Deportees from Pakistan

II. Passengers (Pakistani/foreigners) having a valid medical exemption from immunization granted by a doctor (certificate from a classified specialist)

III. Pakistani travelers under the age of 12

Foreigners and foreign passport holders under the age of 18

V. Passengers (Pakistani/foreigners) who flew outbound from Pakistan before October 1, 2021, whereas passengers flying through connecting flights after entering Pakistan would be permitted to continue their domestic journey.

Up until April 30, 2022, passengers between the ages of 12 and 18 may travel to Pakistan without proof of COVID-19 immunization.

B) All non-vaccinated passengers aged 12 and above flying to Pakistan and meeting any of the requirements listed above (excluding deportees) would be required to have a negative PCR test result obtained within 72 hours of their departure.

• Passengers who are partially or fully vaccinated but do not meet any of the pre-defined conditions given above and wish to be exempt from vaccination or pre-departure PCR testing may apply to the Exceptions Committee for incoming travel to Pakistan through the respective Pakistani High Commission.

C) Deportees will be checked for Rapid Antigen Testing upon arrival, and positive cases will be confined at home for ten days.

D) Prior to departure for Pakistan, all passengers will be expected to provide relevant data using the Pass Track App or web interface.

E) Only fully vaccinated passengers aged 15 and up will be permitted to fly within Pakistan on domestic flights.

  • In addition, wearing a mask will not be required for domestic flight travel in Pakistan. Regardless, passengers are advised to protect themselves by using face masks in enclosed locations like airline cabins or passenger terminals. Any passenger displaying COVID-19-related symptoms, on the other hand, will be obliged to wear a face mask while flying.
  • If a person develops COVID-19 symptoms while in flight, the airline staff will place the passenger(s) in isolation.
  • Pakistani airline operators will not be obligated to make COVID-19-related in-flight public notifications.
  • It should also be noted that any extra COVID-19 condition imposed by any other country for passengers intending to travel internationally to or from Pakistan would be followed by travelers.
  • All other applicable Standard Operating Procedures issued by the office from time to time shall expire.
