Airlines open flight bookings to Dubai from India, Flights Starts from July 15

Flights to Dubai from India re-starts

Indians can start booking flights to Dubai now. Flights from India to Dubai will resume on July 15. However, only some routes will be operational from India. Travel was suspended on April 24 from India due to the second wave of the pandemic. Emirates has confirmed that the flights to Dubai from India will begin on July 16. 

Vistara, Indigo, FlyDubai, Spicejet will also begin operations from Multiple Indian cities to Dubai from July 16. Etihad will begin the services from July 21 as scheduled. 

The authorities had announced an easing of travel restrictions for its residents from India from June 23 onwards, provided they had received two doses of a UAE-approved Covid-19 vaccine.

However, Dubai-bound airlines were not accepting bookings from India. Emirates and Air India had later maintained on social media that bookings would only be accepted from July 7, 2021, onwards as they had not received any formal communication on operations starting from June 23.

The UAE aviation authorities said that the situation is being closely monitored.

The UAE authorities have approved the Covishield vaccine for Indian travellers. Covishield is the brand name of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine in India.
