Etihad Airways Ready To Resume Services between Abu Dhabi & Destinations Around The World

ETIHAD TO RESUME PASSENGER FLIGHTS FROM JUNE 10, 2020

Etihad Airways has announced that they are planning to resume services between Abu Dhabi & Destinations Around The World until June 30, 2020. They are working closely with the UAE government and aviation authorities to gradually return to a more comprehensive schedule as eventually as circumstances permit.

From June 10, 2020, Etihad will resume services via Abu Dhabi to destinations Worldwide.

Yet as a result of COVID-19, the travel restrictions will be in place and passengers will be advised to check the flight restrictions. Travelers will have to take permission from the respected authorities to make them aware of the purpose of your travel.

As per the Flexi travel policy, Etihad Airways has removed change fees for flights booked before June 30, 2020, for travel until November 30, 2020.

With the government travel restriction, passengers will mandate to check in their cabin baggage before they fly. As per the rule, the passenger will only be permitted to carry a personal item onboard, such as a handbag, backpack or laptop bag. That can weigh as much as 5 kg.

Due to global pandemic, lounges in Abu Dhabi are closed but as soon as time permitted, it will reopen. Also, Etihad Airways has implemented additional precautionary measure amid outbreak which will keep passenger safe onboard.

Etihad Airways has resume services but the Abu Dhabi’s Government has restricted the travel between Abu Dhabi and other UAE emirates. If you are traveling between emirates to arrive at the airport, you will be required to apply your confirmation of booking or ticket to authorities. Also, passengers who are booked on one of our special flights are permitted to fly to the airport. 

Passenger will require presenting proof of the booking if their journey time to or from the airport coincides with the UAE curfew hours

Flexi Travel Policy of Etihad Airways

Along with all the above benefits, Etihad Airways has introduced Etihad Credit if a passenger wants to cancel the trip and save it for later. If passenger booked their flight before June 30, 2020, to travel until November 30, 2020, then they can change the flight for free.

Etihad Airways will reward the passengers with up to US $400 and up to 5,000 Etihad Guest Miles, for travel before October 31, 2021. If they do not use your Etihad Voucher within 12 months of the first flight they cancel, they will be entitled to a refund.
