Emirates Announces 9 New Destinations for A350 Aircraft

Emirates has announced the first destinations for its new A350 aircraft, set to start service in September 2024. By 31 March 2025, the airline expects to have 10 A350s in its fleet, serving nine destinations with the latest in-flight experiences.

The new A350s will feature three cabin classes: 32 next-generation Business Class seats, 21 Premium Economy seats, and 259 spacious Economy Class seats. These aircraft are planned to serve short to medium-haul destinations, with Bahrain as the inaugural route.

Customers will soon have more opportunities to experience Emirates’ Premium Economy and next-generation Business Class, particularly on routes in the Middle East, GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council), West Asia, and Europe.

Scheduled Service for the A350:

Middle East/GCC:

  • Bahrain: Daily EK839/840 from 15 September, with a second service starting 1 November.
  • Kuwait: Daily EK853/854 from 16 September.
  • Muscat: Daily EK866/867 from 1 December.

West Asia:

  • Mumbai: EK502/503 from 27 October.
  • Ahmedabad: Daily EK538/539 from 27 October.
  • Colombo: Fourth daily service EK654/655 from 1 January 2025.

Europe:

  • Lyon: Daily service from 1 December.
  • Bologna: Daily service from 1 December.
  • Edinburgh: Rejoining the network from 4 November, details to follow.

More destinations will be announced as additional A350s join the fleet.

Passengers can look forward to the A350’s spacious, quiet cabins with high ceilings, large overhead bins, and customized mood lighting to reduce fatigue and jet lag. Further details about the A350’s seating and cabin features will be shared in the coming months.

Emirates has ordered 65 A350-900s to support future growth and Dubai’s economic plans, aiming to add 400 cities to Dubai’s trade map over the next decade.
