All Passengers flying with Air New Zealand need to be fully vaccinated before boarding a flight with Air Zealand. The airline announced that the new mandate will go into effect from February 1, 2022. It will apply to all passengers age 18 and above traveling on any of the carrier’s international routes.
The Chief executive officer Greg Forran of Air New Zealand Said in the Statement, “Being vaccinated against COVID-19 is the new reality of international travel… The quicker we get vaccinated, the sooner we can fly Kiwis to places like New York, Vancouver, and Narita.”
He added, “We’re getting ready to reconnect to the world and letting customers know what they need to do when we are ready to take off when we can”.
Earlier, Australia’s Major Carrier, Qantas Airways also made it mandatory to be fully vaccinated in order to board on its International Flights.
