The Lufthansa Group is broadening its network in the USA and Canada in 2024 with six new exciting routes.
New Routes Starting in June 2024
- Minneapolis-St. Paul to Frankfurt: Lufthansa now offer nonstop service from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) to Frankfurt. The route was Launched on June 04. This marks Lufthansa’s first gateway in Minnesota, with flights operating five times per week using the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
- Raleigh-Durham to Frankfurt: From June 6, Lufthansa started service from Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) to Frankfurt, operating five times a week with an Airbus A330-300. RDU will be Lufthansa’s second gateway in North Carolina, alongside the existing Charlotte (CLT) to Munich flight.
- Seattle to Munich: Since May 30, Seattle has added nonstop service to Munich, complementing the existing flights to Frankfurt. This route operates three times a week with an Airbus A350-900.

New SWISS Flights to Zurich
Earlier this year, SWISS launched nonstop service from Washington D.C. (IAD) and Toronto (YYZ) to Zurich.
- SWISS Flights:
- Washington D.C (IAD) to Zurich (ZRH): Daily, Airbus A330
- Toronto (YYZ) to Zurich (ZRH) : 5 times a week, Airbus A330
New Austrian Airlines Flight to Vienna
Starting July 1, Austrian Airlines will introduce nonstop service from Boston to Vienna.
- Austrian Airlines Flight:
- Boston (BOS) to Vienna (VIE): Up to 6 times a week, Boeing 767-300
