Turkey’s Flag carrier Turkish Airlines (TK) launches direct flights to Dallas (DFW) International Airport. With the addition of direct flights to Dallas / Fort Worth (DFW), the busiest destination in Texas, Turkish Airlines has taken the total number of destinations to 11 in the United States.
The Other destinations in the United States being Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Chicago O’Hare (ORD), Houston-Intercontinental (IAH), Los Angeles (LAX), Miami (MIA), New York (JFK), Newark (EWR), San Francisco (SFO) and Washington-Dulles (IAD) where they connect from their Istanbul hub (IST) to their extensive network of destinations in Europe, Asia and Africa.
The flight between Istanbul (IST) – Dallas / Fort Worth (DFW) begins its operations on September 24, 2021. The route will be serviced four times a week with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft configured with 30 business class seats and 270 economy class seats. The Boeing 787-9s are equipped with the airline’s new generation of business class seats.
The addition of the new destination means travellers from DFW have more options to connect through Istanbul Hub (IST).
