Air Canada to Operate up to 220 daily flights between the US and Canada

As the Travel Restrictions are set to relax between the US and Canada on August 09, 2021, Air Canada announced its schedule including 55 routes and 34 destinations in the US. This will take the number of daily flights between the USA and Canada to 220. 

The Airlines Transborder services include wide-body aircraft which feature Air Canada Signature Class with lie-flat seating. It will also include a premium economy class on select routes between Toronto and Los Angeles. Air Canada will also resume services greater than two hours on Transborder Flights. 

All customers can collect and redeem Aeroplan Plan points through Canada’s leading loyalty program when traveling by Air Canada, and eligible customers have access to priority check-in, Maple Leaf Lounges at Canadian Airports, priority boarding, and other benefits.

American Airlines and JetSMART Sign Letter of Intent 

American and Jetsmart signed a letter of Intent to create the broadest network and most rewarding customer offering in the Americas. The Flyers throughout North and South America will benefit from expanded travel options with a widespread network of one Airlines and Ultra low-cost flights from another. 

JetSmart offers short-haul domestic and International service to 33 destinations throughout South America. JetSmart Operates the routes with its modern fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft from Chile and Argentina. 

“This proposed investment in JetSMART would give customers access to the largest network, lowest fares, and best travel loyalty program in the Americas,” said Vasu Raja, American’s Chief Revenue Officer.

KLM Expands Intercontinental Network this Winter:

On the Commencement of its winter schedule from 31st October 2021 to 26 March 2022, KLM will be adding new destinations to its intercontinental network. The New Destinations include Mombasa, Orlando, Cancun, Bridgetown, Port of Spain, and Phuket.

The route to Mombasa will be served twice a week with Boeing 787-9 equipment. The Same aircraft will be used to operate flights to Orlando, Florida, four times a week and three times a week to Cancun, Mexico. The Airbus 330 will fly customers to Bridgetown, Barbados, three times a week and Port of Spain in Trinidad and Tobago three times a week. The Boeing 777-300 equipment will fly customers to Phuket, Thailand four times a week.

Finland is Open for the US Travellers 

Fully vaccinated travellers from the US will be allowed to visit Finland withouquarantine or takingking a COVID-19 Test.  Visitors must be fully vaccinated at least 14 days before traveling with Approved Vaccines. Finland is allowing visitors from low-risk countries without proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test result. The countries with under 25 infections per 100,000 people are considered low-risk.
