It’s difficult to imagine how quickly Qatar Airways has expanded throughout Africa since the pandemic.

According to data from OAG, Qatar has over four million African tickets available for sale this year. That’s an increase of 82% over summer 2019 (S19) when it received 2.2 million visitors.

The number of African destinations served by Qatar Airways has increased to 31. Since the pandemic began, Abidjan (ABJ), Abuja (ABV), Accra (ACC), Harare (HRE), Luanda (LAD), Lusaka (LUN), and Sharm El Sheikh (SSH) have all been added to the KAN and PHC networks.
