With many countries steadily opening up their airspace, United Airlines are strategically adding limited capacity to October schedule, with plans to provide additional service to 14 recreational destinations in Hawaii, Florida and Mexico. With this update, they are bringing back almost 50 domestic and 23 international routes. Compared to October last year, they expect to resume 40 per cent of their full schedule in October 2020.
United Airlines has announced its plan to resume international flights on almost 30 routes in September including flights to Asia, India, Australia, Israel and Latin America. However, the airline is planning to fly over 40 per cent of its total schedule in September, which is a 4 per cent rise in capacity compared to what is expected for August 2020. United is also extending its waiver of change fees and granting reservation redeposit fees until August 31.

International Network and Alliances vice president of United Airline said in his statement, “We continue to be objective in our approach to restoring our foreign and domestic schedules by closely tracking consumer demand and travelling where customers want to travel,”. They continued, “We’re adding even more options in September for leisure travelers or those who want to visit friends and family, whether it’s inside the US or around the world.”

United Airline plans to fly 40 per cent of its scheduled services. The airline plans to add over 40 daily flights to destinations on 48 routes, including Austin, Texas; Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Santa Barbara, California. In addition, United plans to restore service between the U.S. mainland and Hilo and Kauai and to expand flights to the Hawaiian Islands to Honolulu, Kona and Maui.

International Flight Network of United Airline
Internationally, United is expecting to travel 30 per cent of its schedule compared to September 2019, which marks a 5-point rise over August. The airline plans to resume operation on 20 routes across Latin America and the Caribbean including popular holiday destinations such as Mexico’s Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta, and Costa Rica’s San Jose and Liberia.
United Airline is planning to launch new nonstop service between Chicago and Tel Aviv and restart eight routes in the Atlantic and Pacific, including the return of European flights to Amsterdam and Frankfurt from Houston.

United Airlines announced it plans to extend its global route network with new Africa, India and Hawaii nonstop service. With these new routes, United will provide India and South Africa with more nonstop service than any other U.S. airline, and will remain the largest carrier between the U.S. mainland and Hawaii.

United Airlines is the only airlines in United State serving non-stop passenger services to Accra and Lagos from Washington, D.C. with three weekly flights to each destination. Currently, with 65 different U.S. cities connecting to Western Africa via Washington Dulles, United can deliver easy one-stop connectivity.
United Airline provides three-times-weekly service between New York(EWR/JFK) and Cape Town. Form Spring 2021, they have added new daily nonstop flights between New York(EWR/JFK) and Johannesburg. With this update, the United becomes the first airline that operates more flights to South Africa than any other U.S. carriers.

New Flights Services To India
United will launch new non-stop service between Chicago and New Delhi at the beginning of December 2020 and will be able to fly nonstop between San Francisco and Bangalore from spring 2021 for the first time ever. Service from San Francisco to Bangalore links two international hubs, expanding the service from the west coast to India, including San Francisco to New Delhi as well.
