Travel rules for entering Saudi Arabia from Turkey within the scope of Covid-19 restrictions are as follows:
- The requirement for a negative PCR test or rapid antigen test for coronavirus before entering Saudi Arabia has been removed entirely.
- Quarantine at the hotel and at home is no longer necessary for visitors to Saudi Arabia.
- Passengers with a residence permit (Iqama) who have received 2 or more doses of the vaccine within the last 8 months (regardless of where the vaccines were administered) will be able to enter Saudi Arabia (Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Medina) directly if they register their vaccinations in the Muqeem platform 72 hours prior to departure and present the original vaccine certificate upon arrival.
- Except for Saudi citizens, all travelers must complete the MUQEEM arrival registration form. https://muqeem.sa/#/vaccine-registration/home
- The above rules are not applicable to children under the age of 18.
- On the Muqeem platform, vaccination status should be updated, and on the Tawakkalna KSA mobile applications, vaccination status should be IMMUNE. The SEHHATY or TAWAKKALNA (KSA government) health mobile apps can be used to get vaccination certificates.

In wake of updated guidelines, Turkish Airlines will increase the flight frequencies from Istanbul to Saudi Arabia. Turkish Airlines will operate 3 daily flights from Istanbul to Jeddah, Twice Daily to Riyadh.
The airline will also operate the flight twice a day to Dammam on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, and once a day on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The Flight Frequency to Medinah has also increased.
