All Inbound International Travelers to the USA must test within one day of departure

USA Entry Requirement

In order to curb the spread of the omicron variant, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention requires everyone entering the country to be tested one day before boarding flights, regardless of vaccination status or country of departure. The administration is also considering such as 7-day self-quarantine or retesting after the 3 to 5 days of arrival.

The New Rules go into effect Monday at 12:01 am EST and are applicable to all air passengers 2 years and older flying into the U.S. Travelers who produce proof that they have recovered from COVID-19 in the past 90 days are exempts.

The Federal Masks Mandate was extended through March 18. The Mandate requires travelers to mask up on airplanes, trains, buses, and airport and train stations.

Travelers will be fined a minimum of $500 for non-compliance with the Masks Mandate and will have to pay fines up to $3000 for repeat offenders.
