The 2022 Fifa World Cup will kick off in a year’s time in Qatar. The Official countdown clock was unveiled on Sunday, November 2021 at Doha’s Picturesque Corniche Fishing Spot. The opening game will be played at the Al Bayt Stadium on November 21, 2022. The Mega Sporting event will bring people from different backgrounds together. Fans from across the world will be treated to top-class football in eight states of the art stadiums.
Qatar Airways increases frequencies in South East Asia
Qatar Airways increases frequencies in South East Asia starting December 2021.
- Bangkok (BKK) increases to 21x weekly
- Phuket (HKT) increases to 10-11x weekly
- Cebu (CEB) increases to 10-11x weekly
- Clark (CRK) increases to 7x weekly
- Kuala Lumpur (KUL) will increase to 12-13x weekly
Two new destinations added to Qatar Airways’s global network:
Qatar Airways added Scheduled passenger services to Almaty, Kazakhstan on November 19. The new service will be operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft, which includes 12 business class seats and 132 seats in Economy Class.
- Almaty, Kazakhstan – twice-weekly started on November 19
- Tashkent, Uzbekistan – twice weekly starting January 17
