Early check is important for A380- Emirates Airlines Updates.

Emirates A380

Dear All,

As during every peak season and the expected bottlenecks at TSA, etc., we are kindly asking you all to alert your clientele that they should make their way to the airport at least 3 hours prior to departure.

The following content will be displayed on emirates.com as well as on twitter:

EOL Operational Update:

Ticker: Peak summer travel traffic advisory, plan ample time for journeys

Emirates expects a high number of passenger departures from US airports over the summer travel period. Passengers travelling from 01 June to 04 June are advised to build in extra time to get to the airport, and to complete airport formalities, including TSA checks.

Passengers are reminded to arrive at the airport at least three hours before their flight departures, check in no later than 2 hours prior to departure regardless of class of travel and update their contact details through “Manage Your Booking” on the Emirates website. Passengers can physically check in as early as six hours before flight departure, or utilise other convenient check-in options.

Boarding gates open 90 minutes before departure, and boarding starts 45 minutes before each flight. Gates close 20 minutes before departure. If passengers report late, Emirates will not be able to accept them for travel.

Check-in and gate closure timings will be strictly followed to ensure flights depart on schedule.

This is the best advice we can offer and we hope that this will help at least little bit to manage the summer peak passenger volumes.
