It stated that as a Respond to an official invitation from the government, Mawlana Hazar Imam will engage in official government programmes and activities, and will meet with the Jamat of the Portugal jurisdiction, for which access will be restricted to the jurisdiction Jamat.
Mawlana Hazar Imam will also grant a Diamond Jubilee Darbar in Lisbon for the Portugal jurisdiction Jamat, to which members from Jamats around the world will be welcome to join through an online pre-registration process. According to the sources, a Diamond Jubilee Festival is to be staged in Lisbon from the 5th to the 11th of July 2018, which will include Jubilee concerts featuring world-renowned performers; an international Jamati Talent Showcase; an Art Gallery; a Film Festival; and a general Khushiali celebration.
The LIF and all Jamati institutions hope that the Jamat will participate wholeheartedly in the events planned in Portugal for the culmination of the joyous commemoration of Mawlana Hazar Imam’s Diamond Jubilee.
