As you may know US and Turkey has suspended non-immigrant visa services for US and Turkish citizens until further notice. This suspension does not affect US/TURKISH citizens who already have a valid US/TURKISH Visa.
TURKISH CITIZENS:
Turkish passport holders originating from Turkey who do not hold a valid US visa and have purchased their tickets before October 9, 2017 and are booked to travel between October 12-31, 2017 with a final destination to the US may change their tickets until October 31, 2017 as follows:
1-Rebooking: Permitted without any charge in the same cabin regardless of original fare class.
2-Rerouting: Permitted as per original fare rules only.
3- Refunds: Permitted regardless of original fare rules as involuntary.
3- Extension of validity: Tickets may be extended up to October 31, 2017 without any penalty or fare difference.
US CITIZENS: US passport holders originating the US who do not hold valid Turkish Visa, and have purchased their tickets before October 9, 2017 and are booked to travel between October 9-31, 2017 with a final destination to Turkey or having a stopover in Turkey may change their tickets until October 31, 2017 as follows:
1-Rebooking: Permitted without any charge in the same cabin regardless of original fare class
2-Rerouting: Permitted within the same IATA area and same cabin without charge.
3-Refunds: Permitted regardless of original fare rules.
3-Extension of validity: Tickets may be extended up to October 31, 2017 without any penalty or fare difference.
- All transactions must be completed on/before October 31, 2017 and waiver code
- ISTCMTK 111334B OCT17 must be entered in the endorsement box of the ticket to avoid any debit memos. The above travel waiver and conditions apply to Turkish Airlines and Anadolu Jet ticket stock only.
- Please note these visa changes DO NOT AFFECT US citizens purely transiting through Turkey.
