Istanbul New Airport is the plan to be World’s Largest airport. It has a capacity of 150 million annual passengers and can be upgradable to handle 200 million annual passengers if required. It is an International Airport of Istanbul. This is the third international Airport to be built in Istanbul after Ataturk airport and Sabiha Gokcen airport. Once New Istanbul Airport started working, the other airport will be closed down and the new airport will be fully functional. The inauguration of the airport is planned to take place on 29 October 2018.
