The following options may be offered to passengers scheduled to depart from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Orlando (MCO) Florida between Thursday September 7, 2017 and Sunday, September 10, 2017, and who hold tickets issued prior to September 7, 2017. Passengers who wish to alter their travel plans as Hurricane Irma approaches may do so as follows:
1) Rebooking & re-issue charges shall be waived.
2) Rebooking: Permitted onto an available flight to/from the same destination for travel within a 7 day period after the original flight date and in the same booking class. This will be at no additional cost to passenger. This applies to the outbound and inbound flight date.
Only one Free of Charge (FOC) change shall be permitted per ticket.
The reissued ticket should be endorsed “INVOL REROUTE – HURRICANE IRMA”.
3) Change of Destination:
The value of the existing ticket may be used towards the purchase of a new ticket. If the new fare is higher than the existing ticketed fare, then the fare difference plus any applicable taxes are payable by the passenger. If the new fare is lower, the difference is NOT refundable.
Only one Free of Charge (FOC) change shall be permitted per ticket.
The reissued ticket should be endorsed “INVOL REROUTE – HURRICANE IRMA”.
These rebooking conditions are applicable to Emirates commercial passengers who purchased tickets prior to Thursday September 7, 2017 which includes travel on a flight departing FLL and MCO between Thursday September 7, 2017 and Sunday, September 10, 2017.
