Emirates services to 29 cities

Emirates is scaling up its operation in response to the increased spike in demand for travel. The move will help customers to connect to and through Dubai as UAE has now eased entry protocols for 12 more countries and the addition of UAE on the Uk’s ‘amber list’.

As the demand increases rapidly for Leisure and Business travel, the airline is restoring its operations in 29 cities with over 270 flights.

Expansion of services to/From the UK

The airline will fly 73 weekly flights to the UK by October. This includes six daily flights to London (LHR), twice a day to Manchester on A380, Ten times a week to Birmingham and daily operations on the Glasgow route.

From August 14, Emirates began its services to London (LHR) with three daily flights operated by its flagship A380. It will increase its operations gradually to 6 daily flights by mid-October. Four of those six will be served by A380.

Additional flights to the USA and Restoration of services across Africa

Emirates currently operates 70 weekly flights to the United States. It has a network of 12 cities in the US and is adding additional flights to Houston, Boston and San Francisco in August to cater to increased demand by Travellers.

Emirates now operates 11 weekly flights to Johannesburg along with three weekly flights to and from Cape Town.
The airline has also reinstated capacity on its flights to and from Lusaka (linked with Harare) and Entebbe with five weekly flights each.


Emirates has resumed passenger services to over 120 destinations, close to 90% of its pre-pandemic network.
