Inclusion of contact details in PNR

With some unavoidable disruptions due to inclement weather experienced along the Eastern seaboard during the recent holiday season we wanted to give a gentle reminder on the importance of including all passenger contact details (email, phone numbers) with all PNRs made.

Having these details makes it so much easier for our systems to provide timely updates to all concerned passengers and ensure that no passenger is left without the information they need.

Smart Baggage restrictions

There are restrictions placed on carrying smart bags with lithium batteries as checked-in or carry-on baggage on all our flights. Smart or innovative baggage includes bags with motors, power banks, GPS, GSM, Bluetooth, RFID or Wi-Fi technology.

 For cabin baggage

Smart bags within the cabin size and weight will be allowed in the cabin only if the battery is removable. The battery can stay in the bag with the bag powered off completely. You can’t charge the bag on board.

 For checked baggage

Smart bags are allowed as checked-in baggage if the battery is removed and carried in the cabin.

Bags with built-in batteries that cannot be removed are banned both as cabin and checked in baggage.
